Apparently, highly-placed people have been lobbying the powers-that-be for alliance access to a specialized corp category: Faction Warfare.  And now, it appears the powers have listened.  

I have no clue what effects on the markets this may have...  While it has the chance to increase the number of people needing ammunition or replacement equipment, it may just as easily have people fleeing from established alliances to avoid becoming targets.  And those established alliances have established selling and buying patters - which could end up in tatters.

I just hope we stay out of it...  It never pays to be shooting at the people to whom you’re also trying to sell.

Added on to this, there’s rumblings that disruptive action against miners may be starting again...
